Method
Preparation
- If your crab legs are frozen, let them thaw in the fridge overnight.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Making Garlic Butter
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
Arranging and Baking
- Place the crab legs in a single layer on a baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Pour half of the garlic butter mixture over the crab legs.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until heated through. If desired, switch to broil for the last couple of minutes to achieve a crunchy texture, while keeping a close eye.
Serving
- Remove the crab legs from the oven and serve with the remaining garlic butter for dipping.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley on top for garnish.
Notes
For a perfect experience, don’t skip the butter! Use a crab cracker to easily break open the shells, and if fresh isn’t available, quality frozen crab legs work well as they are pre-cooked.
