Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place your unbaked pie crust into a pie dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and melted butter. Whisk until well-blended. Stir in the vanilla and a pinch of salt.
- Toss in the chopped pecans to the mixture.
Baking
- Pour the filling into the pie crust and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and a little jiggly in the center.
- Let the pie cool for a bit before slicing.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Notes
