  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Additions
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional, can substitute with nuts or white chocolate chips

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the hot fudge sauce and the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing out the top with a spatula.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  2. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  3. Once cool, slice and serve with a drizzle of hot fudge on top.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for added indulgence.
