- In a bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Divide the marinade into two bowls: one for the steak and one for the shrimp. Toss each protein in its respective bowl to ensure they are well-coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Grilling
- Thread the marinated steak and shrimp onto the skewers, alternating between them.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the shrimp turns pink and the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and brush with remaining marinade if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
Use leftover marinade as a dipping sauce, but ensure it hasn't touched raw meat. Substitutes for shrimp can include chicken, bell peppers, or zucchini.
