Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
  2. Add in the softened butter, peppermint extract, and milk. Stir until it forms a thick, pliable dough.
Shaping the Patties
  1. Take a tablespoon of your dough and roll it into a ball, then flatten it gently to create a patty shape. Repeat until all the dough is shaped.
Chilling
  1. Place your patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Chocolate Preparation
  1. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in intervals of 30 seconds, stirring in between, until smooth and glossy.
Coating
  1. Remove the patties from the fridge and dip each one in the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
  2. Use a fork to lift them out, letting the excess chocolate drip off before placing them back on the parchment paper.
Setting
  1. Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature or place them back in the fridge for quicker setting.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the amount of peppermint extract to suit your taste. If dark chocolate isn't preferred, you can use milk chocolate or white chocolate as an alternative. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
