Ingredients
  

Fudge Base
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter The magic ingredient
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup Hershey's Cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows Optional but highly recommended
  • 1 cup nuts Optional, if you’re feeling adventurous

Preparation
  1. Grab a medium saucepan and combine your sugar, butter, and milk over medium heat. Stirring frequently, let this mixture come to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, let it boil for 5 minutes. Keep an eye on it.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and whisk in the Hershey's Cocoa until fully incorporated.
  4. Stir in your vanilla extract, and add the marshmallows and nuts if desired.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into a greased 9×9-inch pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Let the fudge cool at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker results.
  7. Once cooled, cut it into squares.

Notes

Timing is key; be mindful of the boiling time. Store leftovers in an airtight container; they will last up to a week.
