Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Method

Preparation
  1. If you haven’t already, peel and devein your shrimp.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Once the butter is melted, toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet, sprinkle on the paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  5. Drizzle in the lemon juice, give it a good stir, and remove from heat.
  6. Plate your Henny Butter Shrimp and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Notes

Don't overcook the shrimp, as overcooked shrimp can be chewy. Serve with garlic bread or a light salad for best results.
