Dough and Cheese Filling
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg beaten, for egg wash
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping adjust to preference

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the diced ham, sliced pepperoni, mozzarella, ricotta, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. On a large baking sheet, unroll the crescent roll dough in a circle with the wide ends overlapping slightly.
  4. Spoon the filling into the center of the dough ring, leaving enough space to fold the dough over.
  5. Gently fold the points of the crescent dough over the filling, tucking them under the ring.
  6. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
Serving
  1. Once cooled for a few minutes, slice the crescent ring into wedges and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Don't panic if it doesn't look perfect! Feel free to swap out ham or pepperoni for cooked chicken or veggies as desired.
