Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut into squares, about 4 inches by 4 inches.
- Place a slice of ham and a generous sprinkle of cheese in the center of each pastry square. Add any optional herbs if desired.
- Fold the pastry over the filling diagonally to create a triangle. Pinch the edges tightly to seal.
- Place the rolls on a lined baking sheet and brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let them cool for a minute, then enjoy warm.
Notes
For best results, use a generous amount of cheese. You can prepare these rolls ahead of time and freeze them before baking. Consider trying different shapes for fun!
