Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 large large flour tortillas
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 slices ham the kind you love best
  • 12 slices cheese Swiss, cheddar, or your favorite
  • 1 cup baby spinach or your choice of greens optional
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard optional
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional, but recommended for extra flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Spread a good layer of softened cream cheese over each tortilla, reaching the edges.
  2. Lay 3 slices of ham on top of the cream cheese, then place 3 slices of cheese over the ham. Add greens or mustard if desired.
  3. Starting at one end, roll the tortilla tightly but not so tight that the ingredients spill out.
  4. Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled tortilla into bite-sized pinwheels, about 1-inch thick.
  5. Arrange the pinwheels on a platter and serve fresh.

Notes

These pinwheels can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. They're great for making ahead of time.
