  • 1 package pre-made pizza dough or mini pita breads Use mini pita breads for a quicker option.
  • 1 cup pizza sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese The more cheese, the better!
  • 1 cup assorted toppings Suggestions: pepperoni, olives, bell peppers.
  • to taste olive oil For brushing.
  • to taste Italian seasoning For extra flavor.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out your pre-made pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s about ¼ inch thick. If using pita bread, skip this step.
  3. Use cookie cutters to create spooky shapes from your dough, or roll out small rounds if cookie cutters are unavailable.
  4. Spread a tablespoon of pizza sauce on each pizza.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top.
  6. Decorate with assorted toppings to create creepy faces or monster features.
  7. Brush a bit of olive oil over the edges of each pizza.
Cooking
  1. Place the mini pizzas on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden.
  2. Allow the pizzas to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Make it a family affair by involving kids in the decorating process. Store any leftover pizzas in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
