Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and eggs. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Mixing
  1. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, being careful not to overmix.
  2. Fold in chocolate chips or other mix-ins.
Baking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto ungreased baking sheets and sprinkle with festive sprinkles.
  2. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges.
  3. Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Feel free to swap in different mix-ins like M&M's or dried cranberries. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for three months.
