- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, ground ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before slicing.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
The brownies should be a little gooey in the center when baked. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week. Optional variations include adding chopped nuts or a swirl of cream cheese for extra flavor.
