Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes until shrimp starts turning pink.
Combining Ingredients
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in lemon juice and half of the parmesan cheese.
- Transfer the shrimp mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining parmesan cheese on top.
- Dot with the remaining tablespoon of butter.
Baking
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, until shrimp are fully cooked and opaque.
- Once baked, sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Feel free to use frozen shrimp, just ensure they're thawed before cooking. Substitute parmesan with mozzarella or feta for a twist. Adding spinach or cherry tomatoes before baking provides added nutrition and color.
