  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs Whole wheat is a healthier option.
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic Use more if you love garlic!
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and flatten them slightly with a meat mallet.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Then add melted butter and mix until it resembles wet sand.
  4. Generously coat each chicken breast with the cheese mixture.
Baking
  1. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until no longer pink inside, aiming for 165°F with a meat thermometer.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top before serving.

Notes

If the butter mixture isn't perfectly blended, that's fine! Imperfection adds to the charm. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses such as mozzarella or feta for a unique twist.
