Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz egg noodles or your choice of pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced the more the merrier!
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish - optional

Method

Cooking the Noodles
  1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sautéing the Steak
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the pieces of sirloin steak and sear them for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Cooking the Shrimp
  1. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
Adding Garlic and Sauce
  1. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic to the skillet. Stir well, then pour in the soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, cooking for another minute.
Combining and Serving
  1. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, mixing everything until well combined and every noodle is coated in the garlic butter sauce. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Butter is your friend, don’t skimp on the garlic butter. Feel free to swap egg noodles for zucchini noodles or whole wheat spaghetti. Keep an eye on the cooking times to avoid overcooking the shrimp and steak.
