Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye) Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/4 cup butter Makes everything better
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced) For that garlic punch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish) To make it pretty!
  • Lemon wedges For a zesty kick

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces (about 1-inch cubes) and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Add the steak bites to the skillet and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  2. Remove steak bites from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  4. Melt the butter in the skillet, add minced garlic, and stir for a minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the steak bites to the skillet with the shrimp and toss together in the garlic butter sauce.
  6. Cook for another minute to combine the flavors.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Let steak sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking for better sear. Don’t overcook the shrimp.
