Ingredients
  

For the Seafood
  • 1 lb scallops Preferably sea scallops for their size.
  • 1 lb lobster tail Can be fresh or frozen.
  • Salt & pepper To taste
For the Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Butter makes everything better!
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley Chopped
  • 1/2 lemon Juice To brighten up the dish.
  • Red pepper flakes A pinch, optional for a kick.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. If using frozen lobster tails, thaw completely. Rinse and pat scallops dry.
  2. Season scallops and lobster with salt and pepper.
Cooking Lobster
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  2. Add lobster tails and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through and golden. Remove from skillet.
Searing Scallops
  1. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter.
  2. Once hot and bubbly, add scallops and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and opaque.
  3. Remove scallops and add them with the lobster.
Making Garlic Sauce
  1. Using the remaining butter in the skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
  2. Stir in red pepper flakes, chopped parsley, and lemon juice.
  3. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the scallops and lobster before serving.
Plating and Serving
  1. Serve the dish on a lovely plate, drizzling any remaining sauce on top.
  2. Pair with a side of pasta or a fresh salad.

Notes

Ensure scallops are dry before cooking for a perfect sear. Don't overcrowd skillet to avoid steaming. Adjust butter quantity to taste.
