Ingredients

Lobster Preparation
  • 2 pieces lobster tails
Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter because life needs more butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed is best!
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell of the lobster tail down the middle, being careful not to cut the meat.
Making the Garlic Butter
  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and add in the minced garlic. Stir until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes), then remove from heat and add lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
Baking the Lobster
  1. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and gently pull the meat out of the shell slightly so it rests on top.
  2. Generously baste each tail with the garlic butter mixture, reserving some for dipping later.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
Serving
  1. Once out of the oven, drizzle with additional garlic butter, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Don't overcook the lobster to prevent it from becoming rubbery. For more flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes to the butter. Complement with a simple side salad or garlic bread.
