Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and cut lobster tails in half lengthwise.
- Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel.
Cooking - Scallops
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season scallops with salt and pepper, then sear for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown.
- Flip scallops and cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from the skillet.
Cooking - Lobster
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Place lobster tails cut side down and cook for 5-6 minutes, then flip and drizzle lemon juice on top.
- Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the lobster turns bright red.
Combination and Serving
- Nestle scallops beside the lobster in the skillet and gently toss to combine flavors.
- Cook for an additional minute, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
- Serve warm with crusty bread.
Notes
Don’t rush the searing of the scallops for the best crust. Fresh seafood makes all the difference, and consider adjusting flavors with herbs or spices to suit your taste.
