  • 2 pieces lobster tails Fresh lobster tails work best.
  • 8-10 pieces scallops Use fresh scallops for optimal flavor.
Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Divided for searing scallops and cooking lobster.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Enhances the flavor of the dish.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Drizzle over lobster for freshness.
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste For seasoning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and cut lobster tails in half lengthwise.
  2. Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel.
Cooking - Scallops
  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season scallops with salt and pepper, then sear for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  3. Flip scallops and cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from the skillet.
Cooking - Lobster
  1. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  2. Place lobster tails cut side down and cook for 5-6 minutes, then flip and drizzle lemon juice on top.
  3. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the lobster turns bright red.
Combination and Serving
  1. Nestle scallops beside the lobster in the skillet and gently toss to combine flavors.
  2. Cook for an additional minute, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  3. Serve warm with crusty bread.

Notes

Don’t rush the searing of the scallops for the best crust. Fresh seafood makes all the difference, and consider adjusting flavors with herbs or spices to suit your taste.
