Ingredients

Seafood
  • 2 pieces lobster tails Fresh or thawed if frozen
  • 8 oz. scallops Fresh or frozen
Garlic Butter Mixture
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Use real butter for best flavor
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley Freshly chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
For Serving
  • 1 whole lemon Cut into wedges for serving

Method

Preparation
  1. If using frozen scallops, thaw them in the fridge overnight. Cut lobster tails down the center to expose the meat.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
  2. Place lobster tails face down in skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes, turning halfway.
  3. Gently nestle scallops around lobster and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until scallops are browned and opaque.
Finishing Touches
  1. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and squeeze lemon juice over the top. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Be generous with the butter for rich flavor. Scallops cook quickly, so monitor carefully. Squeezing fresh lemon juice before serving elevates flavor.
