Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully cut the lobster tails down the center back with kitchen scissors or a knife to expose the meat, being cautious not to cut all the way through.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until it's bubbly. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes, just until fragrant, avoiding browning the garlic.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in lemon juice, along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Optionally add red pepper flakes.
Cooking
- Place the lobster tails, cut side up, on a baking pan. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the meat.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster is opaque and cooked through.
Serving
- Once done, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately, ideally paired with a fresh salad or over pasta.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the lobster to prevent a rubbery texture. Use fresh lobster for best flavor, and consider making a lobster feast with customizable butter options.
