Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound scallops (fresh or thawed)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted for the garlic butter sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to butter sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste Season scallops to enhance flavor
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish
  • Lemon wedges For serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Rinse the scallops under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small pan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  3. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Season the scallops with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the scallops and place them in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until they’re opaque and slightly golden.
  4. Drizzle the remaining garlic butter over the scallops and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Make sure to space out the scallops in the air fryer basket for even cooking. You can substitute butter with olive oil for a dairy-free option. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days, but are best enjoyed fresh.
