Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (about 175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until combined. Press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a pie dish.
Filling
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and then fold in flour gently.
Baking
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the top looks slightly cracked. It’s fine if it wiggles a bit in the center.
Cooling and Serving
- Let it cool at room temperature before slicing.
- Serve warm, preferably with a scoop of ice cream.
Notes
If the pie is still jiggling slightly in the center after baking, it will continue to set as it cools. For upgraded toppings, consider a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
