- Pour frozen green beans into a colander and let them sit for a few minutes to slightly defrost.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil (or butter) in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the green beans to the skillet along with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Stir to coat.
- Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until heated through and slightly crispy.
- Drizzle lemon juice over the green beans just before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before serving. To store leftovers, keep in an airtight container for 3-4 days and reheat with a little olive oil.
