Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over each half of the bread.
- Pile on the shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Customize your pizza boats with your favorite toppings.
- Place your assembled boats on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let them cool for a minute or two, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
Notes
Experiment with different cheeses and toppings. Leftover marinara sauce is great for dipping! You can also swap the bread for English muffins or pita.
