  • 1 cup 1 cup of pizza sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1.5 cups 1 ½ cups of shredded mozzarella cheese The star ingredient!

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over each half of the bread.
  4. Pile on the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Customize your pizza boats with your favorite toppings.
  6. Place your assembled boats on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let them cool for a minute or two, then slice into bite-sized pieces.

Notes

Experiment with different cheeses and toppings. Leftover marinara sauce is great for dipping! You can also swap the bread for English muffins or pita.
