Preparation
- In a bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with black pepper, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Let it rest for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the hot pan, spreading it out in a single layer. Sear for about 2-3 minutes until it's browned.
- Toss in the sliced bell pepper, onion, minced garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
- Add the broccoli florets and a splash of water. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the beef is cooked through and the veggies are vibrant.
- Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or zucchini. Allowing the beef to marinate is key.
