  • 1 pound ground turkey Can be substituted with chicken or a plant-based option.
  • 2 cups stuffing mix Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped Considered finger-licking good!
  • 0.5 cup onion, finely chopped Provides an aromatic touch.
  • 0.5 cup celery, finely chopped Adds a nice crunch.
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth Vegetable broth can be used for a vegetarian option.
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage Or any herb of your choice.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil For greasing the baking sheet.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, drizzle a splash of olive oil and sauté your chopped onions and celery until they soften, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, sautéed onion and celery, stuffing mix, chopped cranberries, chicken broth, sage, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into balls, roughly the size of a golf ball, and place them on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake for about 25–30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can prep these ahead of time and store them in the fridge until you’re ready to bake. Try adding your favorite herbs or spices for extra flavor. For picky eaters, rolling them in breadcrumbs may entice them to eat.
