  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Look for fresh and wild-caught shrimp if possible.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Add more if you're a garlic lover!
  • 1 medium lemon, juiced and zested
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once it’s bubbling, add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the pan, cooking for another minute. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice and toss in the lemon zest.
  4. Stir everything together gently, then toss the shrimp with fresh parsley for additional flavor and color.
  5. Plate your shrimp, perhaps over rice or pasta, and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Reheat gently in a skillet with a splash of water or broth to keep moist.
