Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Whisk in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold it into the wet mixture until just combined.
Baking
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
- Let the brownies cool completely.
Topping Assembly
- While the brownies cool, crush the chocolate cookies into a fine texture.
- Once the brownies are cool, spread the whipped topping evenly over the surface.
- Sprinkle the cookie dirt on top until fully covered.
- Place gummy worms on top for decoration.
