Deep Hamburger Sausage Pepperoni Bake

Ingredients
  

Meat Mixture
  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef for best flavor.
  • 1 lb Italian sausage Remove casing before cooking.
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
Sauce and Toppings
  • 1 can (15 oz) pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar) Choose your favorite.
  • 1 can (7.5 oz) biscuits or crescent roll dough Feel free to use any preferred dough.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Add the pepperoni slices and sauté for another couple of minutes.
  4. Pour in the pizza sauce, stirring well to blend everything together.
Assembly
  1. If using biscuits, cut each piece in half and layer them across the bottom of a greased baking dish. If using crescent roll dough, press it down to seal the seams.
  2. Spoon the meat mixture over the dough and top with shredded cheese.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
Serving
  1. Let it sit for a few minutes before serving to cut better.

Notes

Feel free to mix in veggies for added nutrition. Double the cheese for a cheesier dish!
