Ingredients
  

For the Brownies
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Can be substituted with brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped Can substitute with raspberries or cherries
  • 1 cup crunchy granola Experiment with different flavors
For the Sweet Vanilla Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries and crunchy granola.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
Glaze Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
Serving
  1. Once the brownies are cool, drizzle the glaze on top, cut into squares, and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Bring to room temperature before serving.
