Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add in the mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla extract and stir until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan briefly before transferring to a wire rack.

Ensure bananas are deeply ripe for best results. Feel free to experiment with different types of chocolate chips or add nuts.
