- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add in the mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla extract and stir until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan briefly before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Ensure bananas are deeply ripe for best results. Feel free to experiment with different types of chocolate chips or add nuts.
