Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the filling
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips Use high-quality dark chocolate for best results.
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted For extra richness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Gradually mix in the flour and salt until just combined.
  4. Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Filling
  1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate chips and butter, stirring until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the sweetened condensed milk until fully incorporated.
  3. Fold in the fresh raspberries gently.
  4. Spread the chocolate raspberry mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  2. Let cool in the pan before slicing into bars.

Notes

These pie bars can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Serve chilled or at room temperature for the best taste.
