Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 medium-sized potatoes (russet or Yukon gold)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or your favorite seasoning blend For added flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes to remove any dirt, then slice them into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Soak the potato slices in cold water for about 30 minutes, if time allows, to remove excess starch for crispiness.
  3. Drain the slices and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket without crowding.
  3. Air fry for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Once crispy, remove the potato slices and let them cool slightly before serving.
  2. Enjoy them plain or with your favorite dipping sauce like ketchup, ranch, or homemade garlic aioli.

Notes

For extra crunch, make sure to dry the potato slices well after soaking. You can also experiment with seasoning to suit your taste.
