Ingredients
  

Shrimp Ingredients
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
Remoulade Sauce
  • 1 cup mayonnaise homemade if you're feeling adventurous
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce more if you like it spicy
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped capers
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill or more if you're a dill enthusiast!
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Serving
  • Mixed greens or lettuce for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by boiling the shrimp in salted water for about 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque.
  2. Once done, drain the shrimp and place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, hot sauce, capers, dill, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until all the ingredients are well blended. Adjust flavors to your taste.
Combine
  1. Add the cooled shrimp to the sauce, stirring gently to coat them well.
Serve
  1. Create a bed of mixed greens on a plate or in a bowl, then pile your creamy shrimp remoulade on top.

Notes

Don’t skimp on the shrimp! Opt for wild-caught shrimp for better flavor. Customize your sauce with extra lemon or Worcestershire sauce. If sauce looks lumpy, it's all part of the magic!
