Preparation
- Start by boiling the shrimp in salted water for about 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Once done, drain the shrimp and place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process.
Make the Sauce
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, hot sauce, capers, dill, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until all the ingredients are well blended. Adjust flavors to your taste.
Combine
- Add the cooled shrimp to the sauce, stirring gently to coat them well.
Serve
- Create a bed of mixed greens on a plate or in a bowl, then pile your creamy shrimp remoulade on top.
Notes
Don’t skimp on the shrimp! Opt for wild-caught shrimp for better flavor. Customize your sauce with extra lemon or Worcestershire sauce. If sauce looks lumpy, it's all part of the magic!
