- Start by seasoning your chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Cooking the Chicken
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Once hot, add the chicken and cook for about 7-8 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest on a plate.
Making the Sauce
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir together and bring to a simmer.
- Let it cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Combining
- Add the chicken back into the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Let everything simmer together for another 2-3 minutes.
Serving
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish. Serve with your favorite side.
