  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Garnish
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

Method

Cooking the Steak
  1. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and paprika. Once the pan is hot, add the steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  3. Let the steak rest before slicing.
Cooking the Shrimp
  1. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they are pink and opaque.
Making the Creamy Sauce
  1. Pour in the heavy cream and stir, allowing it to bubble gently. Let the sauce thicken for a minute or two. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combining and Serving
  1. Slice the rested steak and add it back to the skillet with the shrimp and sauce. Toss everything together.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

Let your steak rest after cooking for better tenderness. Ensure shrimp are properly thawed if frozen. Customize by adding spinach or cherry tomatoes for extra flavor.
