- Place beef stew meat in the crockpot. Add sliced mushrooms, diced onion, and minced garlic. Stir to combine.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle in Italian seasoning. Set crockpot on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Adding Creamy Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup with sour cream (or Greek yogurt) and whisk in flour if desired.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir the creamy mixture into the beef mixture. Let flavors meld.
