Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of your choice
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced Rotisserie chicken works great!
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor!
  • 1 cup heavy cream The creamy part of the dish!
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese For flavor and creaminess.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped For a fancy touch.

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Toss in the pasta and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Sautéing the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once it’s hot, add the cooked chicken and garlic. Sauté for a few minutes until heated through and garlic is fragrant.
Making the Creamy Sauce
  1. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer and then sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combining Everything
  1. Add the cooked pasta into the creamy sauce and toss until every noodle is coated in the sauce.
Serving
  1. Divide the pasta among plates, garnish with fresh parsley, and if desired, add more Parmesan on top.

Notes

For a lighter sauce, consider using low-fat milk or Greek yogurt instead of heavy cream. You can also add vegetables like broccoli or spinach for added freshness.
