Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Open the cans of crescent rolls and unroll them carefully. Lay them flat on a greased baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a solid layer.
- Dollop the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.
- Roll out the second can of crescent rolls and place it over the filling, pinching the edges to seal.
Baking and Serving
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Once cooled, slice into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Top with fruit glaze for added sweetness.
Notes
Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Substitute cream cheese with ricotta or mascarpone if needed.
