  • 4 pieces chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on The juiciness is unmatched!
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard The star of the show.
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar The secret ingredient for a sweet touch.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Because who doesn’t love creamy goodness?
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Optional but fancy!

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat your chicken thighs dry with paper towels to achieve golden crispy skin. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for about 5-7 minutes until crispy. Flip them over and sear the other side for 5 minutes more.
  2. Remove the chicken thighs and set aside. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the Dijon mustard and brown sugar. Stir until well combined.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream while whisking continuously until smooth.
  4. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Simmer for about 15 minutes on low.
Serving
  1. Once cooked through, garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

If using boneless, skinless chicken thighs, be aware they might not be as juicy. If the sauce looks lumpy, whisk it before serving. Feel free to add your favorite spices or herbs.
