Ingredients
  

For the Crescent Bites
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Use room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1/2 cup pepper jelly Spicier jelly will add more flavor.
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions Optional, for added flavor and color.
  • a dash salt and pepper To taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, pepper jelly, green onions (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  4. Take each triangle of dough and place a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture at the wider end. Roll the dough tightly toward the pointed end.
  5. Place the rolled bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, keeping them at least an inch apart.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
  2. Once they’re out of the oven and cooled slightly, arrange them on a platter.

Notes

Tips: Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing. You can experiment with different jellies or add crumbled bacon/chicken to the filling for more flavor.
