For the Rolls
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened for easy mixing.
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and stretch it out to form a rectangle.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Combine the cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl, then sprinkle over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Roll the dough tightly from the long side and pinch the edges to seal.
  7. Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Glaze Preparation
  1. While the rolls cool, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled rolls.

Notes

For easier slicing, use a serrated knife or floss. You can experiment with additional flavors like nutmeg or pecans in the filling. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
