Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups stuffing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup celery, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed Olive oil for drizzling For sautéing vegetables

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while you gather your ingredients.
  2. In a skillet, drizzle a little olive oil and sauté the diced onion and celery until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, sautéed veggies, stuffing mix, chicken broth, cranberries, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix it by hand until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls.
Cooking
  1. Place the balls on a greased baking sheet and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Let them sit for a minute before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with a side of cranberry sauce for dipping.

Notes

If you have leftover turkey, you can use it instead of ground turkey. Prepare the mixture a day ahead and refrigerate; just bake when ready to serve.
