  • 1-2 tbsp fresh rosemary, minced Alternatively, use your favorite herb.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Enhances flavor.

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar. Mix until smooth.
  2. Add the chopped pecans, cranberries, minced rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly distributed.
  3. Place the cheese mixture in the center of a piece of plastic wrap. Wrap it tightly to form a ball shape.
  4. Refrigerate for at least an hour to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Once chilled, unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in any extra chopped pecans.
  6. Serve on a platter with crackers, veggies, or apple slices.

Notes

This cheese ball can be made a day in advance. Allow it to soften for 30 minutes before serving. Feel free to substitute the rosemary for other herbs of your choice.
