Ingredients

For the dip
  • 1 package 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (bacon makes everything better!)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • to taste optional crushed red pepper flakes for some kick!

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning mix. Use a mixer if you have one, but if not, a good old-fashioned spatula will do the trick.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and green onions until well combined.
  3. Refrigerate the dish for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  4. Before serving, sprinkle some extra bacon bits and green onions on top.

Notes

You can substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt or plant-based options for a lighter version. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
