  • 8 oz crab meat, drained and flaked Feel free to substitute with more shrimp or another favorite seafood.
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled, deveined, and cooked Fresh or frozen shrimp works well.
Dairy Ingredients
  • 1 cup cream cheese Essential for a creamy dip.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese The gooier, the better!
  • 1/4 cup milk Adjust for desired consistency.
Vegetables & Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes Fresh or canned.
  • 1/4 cup diced green onions For color and flavor.
  • 2 tbsp diced jalapeƱos Optional for added spice.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to your preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Ensure your shrimp are cooked and your crab meat is flaked. Gather all ingredients.
Cooking
  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the cream cheese and stir frequently until it melts.
  2. Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and milk until smooth and well-combined.
  3. Fold in the crab meat, shrimp, diced tomatoes, green onions, and jalapeƱos.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Simmer on low heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring gently.
  6. Transfer to a warm serving dish and serve with tortilla chips or sliced veggies.

Notes

If the dip is too thick, add a splash of milk. This dip can be made ahead and reheated for easy serving.
