Preparation
- Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your bundt pan.
- Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Combine the Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until smooth.
- Add the Apples: Fold in the diced apples gently.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top. Bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Topping
- Prepare the Topping: While the cake is baking, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Cool and Top: Once baked, let the cake cool for about 15 minutes before removing it from the pan. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar topping on the cake.
