Ingredients
  

Cake Base
  • 1 cup brewed coffee (or espresso) Strong and bold flavor preferred.
  • 1 pint coffee ice cream
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream Let sit for a few minutes to soften.
  • 1 cake chocolate cake (store-bought or homemade) Let homemade cake cool completely.
Toppings
  • chocolate syrup For drizzling.
  • whipped cream For topping.
  • chocolate shavings or cocoa powder Optional garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew some strong coffee or espresso.
  2. Place your chocolate cake on a serving platter.
  3. Scoop the coffee ice cream directly onto the cake and spread it evenly.
  4. Add vanilla ice cream on top of the coffee ice cream.
  5. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for about 2-3 hours.
  6. Before serving, drizzle chocolate syrup on top and add whipped cream.
  7. Add optional chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish.
  8. Cut slices and serve.

Notes

Don’t rush the freezing. Customize flavors to your liking and store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer.
